New Material
I’m headed to the Smiling Moose tonight to try out some new material.
Check out my snarky comment in my twitter feed.
Also: I’ve added a movie to my mini-review page. Transsiberian gets a B.
Comedy Contest Season Has Begun
So I’m in this comedy contest tomorrow night (Saturday), upstairs at the Royal Place restaurant on Route 88, less than a half mile off of Route 51.
Ten awesome comedians competing for your vote. Only five bucks — just 50 cents a comedian!
I think it’s at 8:00. Be there!
Comedy Night with a Twist
I’m performing tonight at the Skittsburgh comedy show at St. James Place Tavern on the Southside.
But, I won’t be performing comedy — I’ll be engaging in some other selections from the performing arts.
Be sure to check it out.
Ha! They’re Lame!
With apologies to Christine, here’s a little homage to Cleveland.

Correction
Contrary to previous reports from this website, I will not be at the Skittsburgh show at the St. James Place tavern tonight.
You should go there anyway and laugh, laugh, laugh.
An Actual Conversation With My Wife
Me (coming home late): It smells good in here. Did you cook something with garlic?
Wife: No.
Me: Really? What did you make for dinner?
Wife: Spaghetti and meatballs. And garlic bread.
(long pause)
Wife: Yes. The answer to your first question is “Yes.”
Busy Week
Come see me:
- Tonight at Howlers in Bloomfield ($3);
- Tomorrow at the Brillobox in Lawrenceville (FREE); or
- Thursday at St. James Place Tavern on the South Side (FREE).
Your favorite comedian in your three favorite Pittsburgh neighborhoods.
All three shows start at 9:00.
Mini-movie Review: My Tale of Two Cities
An ultimately inspiring, if sometimes frustrating, tale. There are only so many ways to tell the “Pittsburgh-has-gone-to-hell-and-I-wonder-if-it-will-recover” story. I’m actually more interested in seeing more about Carl Kurlander’s relationship with his wife. That seems like a lot of drama. Grade: B.

Holy Saturday, Batman! I’m At the Smiling Moose
I’ve been added to the bill for the comedy show at the Smiling Moose on Saturday night.
I’ll be appearing with Steve Swanson, Mo Mozuch, and Greg Gerken. I will be the only non-alliteratively-named comic there.
7 pm. $5.
If that show is too early, check out the finals of the March Maddness (sic) comedy contest at the Genuine Pub in Verona.
Great Thursday
Tomorrow’s Good Friday, a solemn day of remembrance for followers of the Christian faith.
Today is Thursday, a good day to have some drinks and go hear a smattering of Pittsburgh’s up-and-coming comedians at the Skittsburgh open mic.
I’ll be there, performing ALL NEW MATERIAL!
St. James Place Tavern, South Side. 9:00. FREE! (Free admission, not “Free Barabbas.”)

I’m Now On Twitter
After spending most of my life training myself to keep my thoughts and opinions safe in the privacy of my own head, I’ve decided to join Twitter.
Now all of my fleeting musings are subject to be unleashed on the Twittersphere.
Follow me using @TomMusial. The latest tweets also appear here at TomMusial.com.
Like you have something better to pay attention to?
PS. Come see me tonight at the Harmony Ridge Golf Club with Billy Elmer and other comedy friends! 9:00 pm. $10 at the door.
